Tecnocontrol has performed Phased Array controls over the structures built in Italy while the structures built in Venezuela have been controlled by Venezuelan technicians.<br \/>\nTecnocontrol was tasked to monitor and check together with the Odebrecht Inspectors, the work of Venezuelan technicians with frequent visits on-site.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]Given the rise of several issues related to the application of the PAUT&#8217;s acceptability criteria, the Customer has scheduled a series of periodic meetings by convening well-known American and Canadian Phased Array specialists, always recommending the presence of Tecnocontrol, to approve in a shared way any variation that could have optimized the PAUT system<\/p>\n<p>During the periodic meetings between Tecnocontrol and the PA consultant commissioned by the Customer (Phasex-QuebecCity Canada), various types of assessments were made, crossing a large number of data and information obtained from the analysis of the data acquired with the PA before and after any modifications made and from the reports of the various welding inspectors overseeing the repair activities by noting the nature, size and position of the various defects detected by the PA.<\/p>\n<p>Within a few months, the work carried out by Tecnocontrol in collaboration with the Canadian consultant has allowed to establish an Acceptance Criteria and therefore a fully adequate welding quality comparing with the RT and UT Acceptance Criteria established by the AWS D1.5 code and is therefore definitively approved for the duration of the project.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221; row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;full_width&#8221; angled_section=&#8221;no&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_image_as_pattern=&#8221;without_pattern&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text] PAUT ON STRUCTURAL WELDS OF THE THIRD BRIDGE ON ORINOCO RIVER.
